Data center energy optimization
By Aurélien Ortiz, HPC/IA Software Architect, Lenovo and Raphael Brochard
Lenovo's Neptune strategy focuses on the innovation of liquid cooling in data centers to improve performance and energy efficiency. Taking a holistic approach, Lenovo integrates liquid cooling across the entire infrastructure, reducing power consumption while optimizing heat dissipation. This technology dissipates heat more efficiently than traditional air cooling, which is essential for demanding environments such as data centers handling AI and HPC workloads. Lenovo also places a strong emphasis on sustainability, reducing the carbon footprint of data centers through more energy-efficient solutions. The company invests in liquid direct cooling technologies, and offers customized solutions to meet specific customer needs. This strategy enables Lenovo to reinforce its leadership in the field while supporting environmentally responsible practices for the future of data centers.
